| Description | The Durham CIT Program began in 2006. Local Law Enforcement Agencies, NAMI and CFAC, Durham Tech Community College, and the Durham Center are all active partners in Durham County CIT. There are currently more than 80 CIT officers trained in Durham County. The Durham Police Department is part of the Durham County CIT Program. The Durham Police Department offers CIT services to the city of Durham, North Carolina. |
